Product Performance

Since PA6 absorbs moisture easily, the drying temperature is 105℃ for more than 4 hours.

Melting temperature: 230-280°C, 250-280°C for reinforced varieties. The mold temperature is 80-90 °C, and the temperature of the fiber-added material mold should be greater than 80 °C. The shrinkage of PA6 is between 1% and 1.5%. Adding glass fiber additives can reduce the shrinkage to 0.3%,

Injection pressure: generally between 750-1250bar (depending on material and product design)

Injection speed: high speed (slightly lower for reinforcing materials)

Runners and gates:

The solidification time for PA6 is very short, so the location of the gate is very important. The gate diameter should not be less than 0.5*T (where T is the thickness of the plastic part).

If a hot runner is used, the gate size should be smaller than with conventional runners, as the hot runner can help prevent premature solidification of the material. If a submerged gate is used, the minimum diameter of the gate should be 0.75mm.

It is widely used in structural components due to its good mechanical strength and stiffness. Because of its good wear resistance, it is also used to manufacture bearings.

• PA66

1. The specific gravity of PA66 is 1.15, which is heavier than water and can be submerged in water. The shrinkage rate is 1.5-2.2%. The melting point of PA66 is 265 degrees, the molding temperature is 250-290, and the temperature of the fiber material is higher. Mold temperature is 80-120. When PA66 burns, the flame is blue with yellow, white smoke is emitted, the flame is easily extinguished, and the smell of celery is emitted. PA66 is firm, tough, opaque, easy to cut, and the cut surface is smooth. PA66 is the highest mechanical strength and the most widely used variety in the PA series. Its crystallinity is high, so its rigidity, hardness and heat resistance are high.

Advantages of PA plastics

1. The abrasion resistance of PA plastic is higher than that of all other fibers, such as wool and cotton. The abrasion resistance of PA plastic is 20 times that of wool and 10 times that of cotton, and PA plastic is non-toxic, light in weight and excellent in mechanical strength. and good corrosion resistance.

2. PA injection parts are widely used, generally used in machinery, automobiles, home appliances, aviation, metallurgy and other fields. In civilian use, they can be blended or spun into various medical and knitted products.

The disadvantage of PA plastic is that the thermal stability and light resistance are relatively poor. In the process of production, it is necessary to add a variety of preparations for modification treatment in order to improve these problems.
