When the spherical oil bearing is working, the shaft is heated due to conflict and reverse rotation, the thermal expansion of the bearing pad reduces the porosity, and the lubricating oil overflows into the bearing clearance. After the important official stops rotating, the bearing bush cools, the air hole recovers, and the lubricating oil is sucked back to the air hole.
In order to assemble and disassemble the oil bearing more conveniently, tools should be selected first. When assembling and disassembling bearings, the applied force shall be stable and uniform without collision. This requires the use of oil pressure or tools capable of exerting a steady tension or pressure. When hammering is really needed, soft and debris free metal should also be used for buffering, such as copper sleeve, and the hammering force may be light.
Secondly, when installing the bearing, when the bearing has just been installed in the correct position, stop applying force to ensure that the end face of the ring is close to the end face or shoulder of the seat hole, so that it will not be squeezed too tightly or not installed in place. The bearing will wear more or less under accumulated use. In this case, we can adopt repair welding, casing insertion, pitting and other methods.
