Selection requirements of blank for stainless steel precision casting

1. Requirements for materials and mechanical properties of precision casting parts: the process characteristics and mechanical properties of the materials of the parts roughly determine the type of blank. Make full use of new technologies and materials: in order to save materials and energy and improve the efficiency of mechanical processing, the casting methods and materials such as precision casting, precision forging, cold rolling, cold extrusion, powder metallurgy, special steel and engineering plastics should be fully considered. In this way, the amount of machining can be greatly reduced, even without machining.

4. Existing production conditions: when determining the blank, it is necessary to combine the specific production conditions, such as the actual level and capacity of on-site production and the possibility of outsourcing, otherwise it is unrealistic.
