1、 Improving the Strength of Powder Metallurgy Gears
1. For high strength P/M gear products, the high-density "stamping pre sintering re sintering heat treatment" technology should be adopted.
2. The addition of 2% - 3% Ni and 2% Cu in the material can significantly improve the willfulness and impact strength of the material after sintering.
3. The low carbon mixing amount ensures that the product has high surface hardness and wear resistance after heat treatment, and the low carbon in the center has good impact resistance for the product.
4. Compared with carburizing and quenching, carbonitriding products have good wear resistance. Low carbonitriding temperature ensures the core strength of parts and reduces quenching deformation of parts.
2、 Strength characteristics of powder metallurgy gears
1. The strength of the size machined by powder metallurgy billet is increased by about 10%.
2. The torque of ordinary FN0205 powder metallurgy gear can reach 14NM, the warm compaction parts can reach 20NM, and the warm compaction FD0405 can reach about 25NM. Therefore, if all gears are allowed by professional powder metallurgy design, the light level can still be increased to 30-40%.
3. The expansion coefficient of material and the precision of die mostly depend on the precision of powder metallurgy gear. Generally speaking, the domestic molds for gears with diameters less than 50 are about 8~9 grades, and the imported molds are about 7~8 grades. If it is a helical gear, another level can be improved. The biggest advantage of powder metallurgy gear is that it can be produced in large quantities and has good integration.
