1. Top dead center. 2. Bottom dead center. 3. Take the line. That is, the needle bar runs to the uppermost point, the lowermost point and the position where the shuttle hook takes the lower thread. Among these positions, the most important one is the line fetching position. Generally speaking, adjusting the shuttle bed is actually adjusting the thread take-up position. Before the adjustment, the upper and lower dead points must be adjusted. The needle must be upright.
Steps for Adjusting the Line Picking Position
1. First turn the dial to the line scale (different models are about different)
2. Press down the needle bar, facing the machine head, and half of the needle hole can be seen at an angle of 45 degrees is the best position for the needle bar.
3. Adjust the position of the shuttle bed and the needle tip, the needle tip is just facing the hook tip of the hook of the shuttle hook, and the locking screw moves left and right to shake the needle tip of the shuttle bed to cover the hook tip of the shuttle hook for the best position.
4. Adjust the distance between the shuttle bed and the needle tip (the distance is too wide to carry the lower thread).
Note that we usually adjust the shuttle bed with needle 5, and then use needle 2 and needle 8 to align the position again. The machine has a shaft of the thread take-up lever that was broken and replaced, and the result was always broken and unusable.
It is also necessary to determine whether the shaft on the needle bar holder is installed with the thread take-up lever or the shaft that drives the half-tooth, if the shuttle bed, etc. have been replaced, and it can be ensured that their positions are normal. Then it is very likely that the rubber cam or the iron cam is out of position, or damaged. It is best to seek professional maintenance personnel for maintenance.
