Introduction to powder metallurgy isostatic pressing and ceramsite molding technology
Powder metallurgy technology has been developing continuously, from traditional one-way pressing to two-way pressing, to isostatic pressing and ceramsite molding, including blood and sweat. Numerous powder metallurgy researchers and countless day and night research and development. Thanks to the contributions of powder metallurgy researchers and the development of the times, the industry has made considerable progress and greatly improved our lives. Next, Zhongwei Precision will discuss three molding technologies of powder metallurgy.

1: Isostatic pressure
The high-pressure pump is used to press the fluid medium (gas or liquid) into the sealed container made of high pressure resistant steel, and the high-pressure pressure fluid directly acts on the powder in the mold sleeve, at the same time uniformly extrudes the powder in all directions, so as to obtain the compact with uniform density distribution and high strength.

2: Ceramsite pressing
The process is to consolidate the porous metal preform to the theoretical density under the quasiisostatic pressing condition. Ceramic particles are used as the force transmission medium in the ceramic particle pressing process, and the pressure is transmitted to the porous preform through the ceramic particles, so that the workpiece can be pressed into a product close to the final shape and completely dense.
3: STAMP process
It can be used to manufacture blanks and semi-finished products, and then heat treat them to the final contour. The manufacturing process includes the preparation of atomized powder in a horizontal cell, followed by preheating and rapid condensation under high pressure. This method can be used to produce basically defect free blanks, so the material yield is very high, and it is applicable to high alloy heat-resistant steel, stainless steel and products made only by high-speed tools.
There are about ten powder metallurgy forming technologies. I'll share it with you later. What do you want to say about powder metallurgy isostatic pressing, ceramsite pressing and STAMP process? Please feel free to consult zhongwei Precision for discussion.
