Tungsten needle is a slender tungsten product made of pure tungsten or tungsten alloy. It has the advantages of high temperature resistance, high hardness and good conductivity. It can be used as electrode material for argon arc welding technology (the fastest growing , the most widely used welding technique), it can also be used as a probe of an instrument, and can also be used as a dissection needle.
Step 1: Wrap the micron tungsten wire on the enameled wire;
Step 2: Pass the enameled wire with tungsten wire through the capillary glass tube;
Step 3: Pull out the enameled wire, leave the tungsten wire in the capillary glass tube and straighten it;
Step 4: Heat the middle of the capillary glass tube. When the heated part is in a molten state, apply a pulling force to one end of the capillary glass tube or apply opposite pulling force to the two ends of the capillary glass tube, so that the diameter of the heating part becomes smaller gradually Until it is disconnected, the tungsten wire at this part is completely exposed, and the molten glass will also adhere to the tungsten wire;
Step 5: Cut off the exposed tungsten wire in the middle to form two tungsten needles;
Step 6: Trim the needle of the tungsten needle under the microscope so that the length of the tungsten wire protruding from the capillary glass tube is between 0.2 and 0.5 mm.
The tungsten needle prepared by this method is mainly used as a dispensing needle, a key component of a dispensing machine, and is widely used in the fields of electronics, aerospace, optics, clocks and watches.
