An important feature of the new anti-skid tire they developed, the "Q Tire", is that it has retractable anti-skid spikes. When the owner presses a switch in the car, the anti-skid spikes will appear on the tire. When the snow melts on snowy days, the owner does not have to worry about the slippery road and the car is difficult to control. Just press the button again and the anti-skid spikes will retract into the tire, just like ordinary tires.
Q Tire founder Michael O'Brien grew up in Southern California and did not realize the real benefits of anti-skid tires at first.
