Most of the forklift hydraulic cylinders used on forklifts today are single-piston rod hydraulic cylinders. Taking the forklift tilt hydraulic cylinder as an example, its structure and accessories are as follows:
The forklift hydraulic cylinder is mainly composed of cylinder bottom, key, sealing ring, piston, cylinder barrel, piston rod, guide sleeve, cylinder head, dust ring, etc. One end of the cylinder barrel is welded to the cylinder bottom, and the other end is threaded to the cylinder head. The forklift piston and piston rod are connected by keys or threads. In order to ensure reliable sealing of the hydraulic cylinder, sealing rings and dust rings are installed at corresponding parts.
1. Cylinder barrel. The cylinder barrel is the main body of the forklift hydraulic cylinder. Its inner hole is generally manufactured by precision machining processes such as boring, reaming, rolling or honing. The required surface roughness is Ra0.1-0.4um.
2. End caps. The end caps are mainly installed at both ends of the cylinder barrel, forming a closed oil chamber with the cylinder head. They also bear large hydraulic pressure, so the end caps and their connecting parts should have sufficient strength.
3. Guide sleeve, which guides and supports the piston rod or plunger. Some hydraulic cylinders do not have a guide sleeve and are directly guided by the end cover hole.
4. Piston assembly. The piston assembly of a forklift is composed of forklift accessories such as pistons, seals, piston rods and connectors. The most commonly used connection forms between the piston and the piston rod are threaded connection and semi-ring connection. In addition, there are integral, welded and tapered pin structures. Generally, the threaded connection structure should be simple and easy to disassemble and assemble, but a nut loosening device is required. The strength of the semi-ring connection is higher, but the structure is more complicated than the threaded one, and it is inconvenient to disassemble and assemble. The semi-ring connection is mostly used in situations with high pressure or large vibration.

Maintenance And Inspection Points For Forklift Hydraulic System Accessories
1. Forklift fuel tank
① Wash the forklift fuel tank after removing it, and remove oil traces inside and outside the tank;
② Check whether there are cracks, holes or rust in the forklift fuel tank. If there are such phenomena, it must be welded and safe operating procedures should be followed. If there are bulges or depressions in the box wall, they should be repaired. If the damage is serious, they should be replaced.
③ Check the sealing of the fuel tank, put the fuel tank into the pool and pass in compressed air with a pressure of 0.5MPa for 2 minutes. No bubbles are allowed in the water.
④ Check the oil filling port of the fuel tank. No cracks or other phenomena are allowed. When the filter screen of the oil port is damaged, it should be replaced.
2. Hydraulic filter.
The hydraulic filter of the forklift is installed on the low-pressure oil pipe and is used to filter the oil coming back from the oil cylinder. After decomposition, the filter must be cleaned with gasoline and blown dry before inspection. If there are small holes in the filter or the solder falls off, it should be repaired by re-soldering. The thickness of the welding layer should not be less than 3mm, and there should be no welding flash. Damaged seals should be replaced.
3. One-way throttle valve
There is a one-way throttle valve installed at the inlet of the lifting cylinder. Its function is to limit the descending speed of the plunger of the lifting cylinder, that is, to limit the flow of oil discharged in the cylinder to limit or reduce the descending speed and avoid rapid Landing and causing an accident. When the one-way throttle valve is lifting, the working oil is pressed into the cylinder, which does not produce resistance and does not affect the lifting speed.
A. No scratches are allowed on the surface of the valve core and the working surface of the valve body. The gap between the valve core and the valve body should not be greater than 0.15mm. Otherwise, the valve core chrome should be repaired.
B. The spring should not have cracks, rust or deformation, otherwise it should be replaced.
C. When installing the assembled one-way throttle valve to the oil inlet of the lifting cylinder, special attention should be paid not to install the throttle valve in the opposite direction.
