Correct way to adjust the hook
On the premise that the needle is installed correctly, the needle moves from top to bottom and the hook rotates. When the needle is lowered to the lowest position, the tip of the hook should be within the range of 14° to 18°, and 10 to 12 mm from the center of the needle. That is, when the needle bar goes down to the lowest point, the distance between the shuttle tip and the needle is 3.5-4MM, and when the needle bar rises 2.2MM, the shuttle tip reaches the center of the needle, and the distance from the needle hole is 1.2-1.5MM.
When the machine needs to sew thin sewing materials, the distance between the tip of the hook and the center of the needle should be adjusted to 8-12 mm. Just loosen the three fastening screws on the hook and turn the hook clockwise. When the direction is turned by an angle, the positioning distance increases; on the contrary, it decreases.
The level of coordination between the needle and the hook is determined according to the position of the needle bar of the lockstitch machine, which is determined by the actual needs of the machine itself to hook the thread. Due to the different stitch combinations, the adjustment of the position of the needle bar is based on the needle hole and the needle tip.
Generally, the lockstitch machine is based on the needle hole, because the formation of the thread loop is not directly related to the length of the needle tip. The needle rises up about 2.2 mm from the lowest position. At this time, the tip of the hook is also located in the center of the recess on the short groove side of the needle, and the loop on the needle is in the ideal shape.
The rotary hook is installed on the left end of the lower shaft, and the plane gap between the right plane of the rotary hook and the front bushing of the lower shaft is generally maintained at about 0.03 mm. The position where the front sleeve of the lower shaft is inserted into the car shell is not arbitrary. Its installation basis is based on the left and right matching distance between the needle and the hook tip of the hook when the hook tip of the hook is turned to the position of the thread hook after the hook is installed. About 0.05-0.1 mm is subject to no touch.
If the distance between the hook tip and the needle is too large, the deformation of the thread loop will cause skipping failure; if the distance is too small, mutual friction will occur. Fear of damage to the machine parts, which will cause broken threads, broken needles and skewed stitches.
