The processing method of firearm parts is to mix graphite powder containing 0.05-1.0% iron and 2-8% nickel with a binder, process it into a blank by an injection molding machine, and then degrease and sinter.
The Present Invention Is Described In Detail In Conjunction With The Embodiments Below.
a. Preparation of binder: According to weight percentage, take 10-40% polyethylene glycol, 5-20% vegetable oil, 15-30% polyethylene, 1-10% plasticizer, and 15-54% paraffin, place it in a blade mixer, and mix it for 1 hour at a temperature of 140°-160°C.
b. Ingredients: The binder and graphite powder containing iron and nickel are mixed in a volume ratio of 56-40:54-62, and mixed in a mixer at 140°-160°C for 1.5 hours.
c. Injection molding: The above mixture is placed in an injection molding machine, and processed into blanks at 140°-150°C, injection pressure 40-65Mpa, and mold temperature 30°-60°C.
d. Degreasing: First, the blank is placed in water and heated to 40°-60°C, retained for 1-2 hours, and then the blank is placed in dichloromethane to dissolve paraffin and vegetable oil components; then the blank is placed in a degreasing furnace, and under hydrogen protection, heated to 300°C at a rate of 10°C/mmin, and then heated to 550°C at a rate of 15°C/min for pre-sintering.
e. Sintering: Sintering for 60-120 minutes in a bell furnace at a temperature of 1240°-1380°C under nitrogen protection.
Preparation Of The Binder Of The Present Invention.
Example 1: Take 30% polyethylene glycol, 10% vegetable oil, 25% polyethylene, 5% plasticizer, and the rest is paraffin, put it in a blade mixer, and mix it at a temperature of 140°-160°C for 1 hour.
Example 2: Take 10% polyethylene glycol, 20% vegetable oil, 15% polyethylene, 1% plasticizer, and the rest is paraffin, put it in a blade mixer, and mix it at a temperature of 140°-160°C for 1 hour.
Example 3: Take 40% polyethylene glycol, 5% vegetable oil, 30% polyethylene, 10% plasticizer, and the rest is paraffin, put it in a blade mixer, and mix it at a temperature of 140°-160°C for 1 hour.
The present invention can be used to process firearms parts, which can be formed in one time without post-processing, greatly reducing costs. The product density can reach 7.65-7.68g/cm3, and the dimensional accuracy can reach ±0.3% of the product size.
