Automobile suspension water glass investment castings are highly sought after products in the automotive industry due to their superior quality and performance. These investment castings are made using water glass, a special type of silica, as the main material, which is melted and then cast into molds to produce complex shapes and designs. Known for their high strength, durability, and corrosion resistance, these investment castings are ideal for use in the harsh conditions of automobiles. Our castings can also withstand high temperatures and extreme pressures, making them suitable for heavy-duty applications.
Application
Automotive suspension water glass investment castings have a wide range of applications in the automotive industry, including:
1. Suspension system
This type of casting is often used in the suspension system of automobiles to ensure that the vehicle remains stable and balanced during operation.
2. Steering system
Our investment castings are also used in the steering system to ensure the precise control and maneuverability of the vehicle.
3. Transmission system
Automotive suspension water glass investment castings are used in the transmission system, which can provide excellent performance in shifting and controlling the power output of the vehicle.
4. Engine components
Our investment castings are also used in a variety of engine components, including intake manifolds, cylinder heads, exhaust manifolds, to ensure that the engine runs smoothly and efficiently.
Benefits
Each wheel is independently installed on the body or axle through a set of suspension. The axle is disconnected, and the middle section is fixed on the frame or body. This kind of suspension does not affect each other when the wheels on both sides are impacted, and due to the quality of the suspension Lighter; strong cushioning and shock absorption capabilities, comfortable ride. All indicators are better than non-independent suspension, but the suspension structure is complex and will also complicate the drive axle and steering system. There are two major types of vehicles using this kind of suspension.
1) The wheels on both sides can move independently without affecting each other;
2) Reduces the unsprung mass, which is beneficial to the ride comfort of the car;
3) The use of disconnected axles can lower the engine position and lower the center of gravity of the vehicle;
4) The wheel movement space is larger, which can reduce suspension stiffness and improve ride comfort.
Classify
Wishbone independent suspension
1. Single wishbone independent suspension
It is characterized by the fact that when the suspension is deformed, the wheel plane will tilt and change the distance between the contact points between the wheels on both sides and the road surface - the wheel track, causing the tire to slip sideways relative to the ground and destroy the adhesion between the tire and the ground. In addition, when this suspension is used for steering wheels, the caster angle of the kingpin and the camber angle of the wheels will change greatly, and there is a certain influence on the steering control, so it is rarely adopted in the front suspension at present.
2. Double wishbone independent suspension
The upper and lower swing arms are not of equal length, and the length ratio is appropriate, so that the angle and track of the wheel and kingpin can not change much. This independent suspension is widely used on the front wheels of sedans. The arms of the double wishbone are either A-shaped or V-shaped. The upper and lower two V-shaped swing arms of the V-arm are respectively mounted on the wheels at a certain distance, and the other end is mounted on the frame. Unequal arms, double wishbones, upper arms are shorter than lower arms. When the wheels of the car move up and down, the arc of the upper arm is smaller than that of the lower arm. This will allow the upper part of the tire to move slightly inside and out, with minimal impact on the bottom. This structure helps to reduce tire wear and improve the car's ride ride and directional stability.
