Finally, through practice verification, a more optimized casting technology scheme is formed For small and medium-sized nodular cast iron with pump shell structure, the defects of shrinkage and porosity can not be completely solved by adopting no-riser process design. (2) The main oil pump shell nodular cast iron can be directly fed by the riser to solve the shrinkage hole and porosity defects, and the special riser with high feeding efficiency can be directly fed, which can significantly improve the casting quality; (3) For nodular cast iron with complex heat node distribution, reasonable matching of riser and cold iron and other process measures is one of the core technologies for forming dense castings.
