55NCDV7 Lost Wax Investment Casting

55NCDV7 steel is a tool steel suitable for manufacturing hammer forging and trimming dies with complex shapes and large impact loads. This steel is not suitable for use under high working conditions, but the working temperature is not too high, and can work under average operating temperatures. At the same time, this steel can be used to produce large and medium-sized hammer forging dies with a side length greater than 400mm.

French NF standard 55NCDV7

55NCDV7 steel has good toughness, strength, and high wear resistance. Its mechanical properties are almost the same at room temperature and 500~600℃. When heated to 500°C, it can still maintain a hardness of about HB300.

55NCDV7 annealed, 241~197HB, indentation diameter 3.9~4.3mm

The smelting of 55NCDV7 lost wax investment casting uses a vacuum refining process to ensure the purity of the steel. Through large-scale professional heat treatment, the steel obtains a good pre-hardening effect, making its hardness evenly distributed. In the manufacturing process, this steel can be used in general manufacturing processes to produce simple shapes. In general, the physical properties of 55NCDV7 steel, such as high impact load, uniform hardness distribution, and superior pre-hardening effect, make it an excellent choice for manufacturing hammer forging dies and trimming dies.
