This kind of steel contains a high content of alloy elements, mainly corrosion-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, wear-resistant steel, and other special steels with physical and chemical properties. Alloy structural steel has better mechanical properties than carbon structural steel, especially high heat treatment properties.
The alloy is usually produced by EAF/VD/LF and then electro-slag refining (ESR) if there is a special application.
Various levels of ultrasonic inspection are performed on bars and forgings (if applicable) as requested by the purchaser.
Rods are usually bright in the annealed state.
