It has low hardenability and is prone to cracks during water quenching. It should be used after normalizing and annealing. Mostly, when the mechanical performance requirements are high, quenching and tempering treatment is used. It is recommended that small parts use quenching and tempering treatment, and large parts can use normalizing treatment. Suitable for hydrogen welding and argon arc welding, but not suitable for gas welding. Welding parts should be preheated before welding and stress relief annealed after welding.
