The implementation standard of 35# steel plate is GB/T711-2008. It has good plasticity and appropriate strength, good process performance, and acceptable welding performance. It is mostly used in a normalizing state and quenched and tempered state.

The difference between 35# steel and 45# steel:
45# steel is high-quality carbon structural steel. Its strength is 61 and HRC is 48-55. It is widely used in machinery;
35# is also a high-quality carbon structural steel, but its strength is only 54 and HRC is 38-45. The difference between them can be identified from the sparks.
