Water Glass Casting Process
The glass is melted and shaped through a mold. Generally, after the mold is manufactured, the molten glass is injected into the mold or the glass fragments are stacked in the mold of the pre-made mold, and the mold is put into the furnace for melting, and the mold with the glass domain is matched and then annealed to form.
1. Lost wax casting method
1) Make a prototype out of clay
2) Make a silicone rubber mold and fix it with plaster
3) Pour liquid wax into the silicone rubber mold to cast a waxy "prototype", which is called a "wax mold"
4) After cooling, take out the wax model and refine it.
5) A refractory gypsum embedded wax model
6) Heating and dewaxing will form a prototype shape in the high temperature resistant material.
7) Fill the glass block into the mold and place it in the kiln for heating. The glass block gradually melts and fuses until the cavity is completely filled. Then it can be annealed, condensed and molded to make blown glass.
2. Process steps
1) Picking materials: First, place one end of an iron pipe or stainless steel pipe with a length of about 1200-1500 mm in a furnace and heat it to an appropriate temperature to facilitate the adhesion of the glass liquid, and then grade the molten glass in the crucible.
2) Blowing: Roll the picked material into a glass mass on a rolling plate or bowl, and blow air from one end of the blowing rod into the softened glass on a special production table to make it hollow. Thick-walled bubbles are then blown into bubbles, or the fluidity of the glass itself is used to form bubbles.
3) Shaping: Under constant rotation and blowing, the material bubble is continuously expanded. During operation, only special hand tools such as pliers, scissors, tweezers, splints and templates are used to shape or trim with scissors. 4) Finishing: After the products are annealed, they should be processed and finished such as cutting and drying.
3. Tools used in lamp processing technology
Blowtorch, anvil, tweezers, needle, scissors, pliers.
4. Process methods used
Squeeze, pull, clamp, glue, cut, wrap, bend.
