Chemical composition of 080A47 carbon steel
The chemical composition of 080A47 carbon steel is mainly carbon, chromium, and manganese, of which the carbon content is 0.4%~1.6%, the chromium content is less than 0.25%, and the manganese content is less than 0.03%. In addition, it also contains small amounts of silicon and iron. In terms of mechanical properties, 080A47 carbon steel has high yield strength and tensile strength, indicating that it has good strength characteristics during use; in addition, because the steel has excellent hardenability after heating, it has broad application prospects. In terms of the heat treatment process, after various processes, 080A47 carbon steel can reach higher temperature and hardness levels to meet welding needs.
Mechanical properties
080A47 steel mechanical properties: 800Cu, 65SiMn, 40Cr, 16Mo and 15Nb and other ingredients.
It has excellent tensile strength and compressive strength of more than 100MPa; it has strong plasticity and can withstand high pressure. 80Cu is an alloy steel between low carbon steel and medium carbon steel. It is widely used in manufacturing automotive parts, such as leaf springs, crankcase leaf springs, and seals. 800Cr stainless steel is a composite stainless steel composed of various alloying elements based on low nickel and adding a small amount of copper and chromium. Because it contains a large amount of zinc and tin, its corrosion resistance is very good. 100CR refers to the chemical erosion of metal structural materials by precipitates (including sulfate ions) generated at a high temperature of 450°C, resulting in local corrosion, aging, or cracks on the surface. This is called heat treatment hardened steel.
Heat treatment process
The heat treatment process is an important part of steel material processing. It can improve the organizational structure of steel, increase the strength and wear resistance of steel, and reduce product costs. Therefore, when choosing to use 080A47 carbon steel, attention should be paid to whether its chemical composition, mechanical properties, and heat treatment process meet the requirements. Currently, there are three commonly used heat treatment processes: quenching, annealing, and low-temperature tempering.
These three heat treatment methods all require the metal to be cooled by water and then heated to high temperatures to change its internal structure. If the insulation layer is not added, it will cause cold brittleness and affect the service life. Determine the best heat treatment process parameters according to the actual situation and reasonably control the range of use to obtain the best technical and economic benefits.
